Meet Sean Marie

Ever hear of a reporter for God? That’s what Sean Marie is… uncovering incredible stories for God’s Pack about kids who do God’s work.

Sean Marie is an experienced television news anchor and reporter who has worked in cities all across the US– including Idaho Falls, ID,  El Paso, TX,  Denver, CO and Columbus, OH.  Sean Marie says- “Covering the news is almost what I dreamed it would be when I decided to be a broadcast journalist during high school.”

Before standing in front of the camera with a microphone in her hand, Sean Marie graduated from UCLA with a degree in Communications. Her first real “On-Camera” job took her to a teeny-tiny TV market in Idaho. (Ask Sean about potatoes and she’ll tell where they grow super-delicious spuds.)

Sean Marie has covered major stories like- Tornados, Floods, Presidential Elections, Court Trials, and High Speed Police Chases.  She’s interviewed some important people along the way too, like– Shoshana Johnson, a former POW, Dr. Terrence Roberts- one of the original Little Rock 9 Students in the famous Civil Rights Trial, and former US President, George W. Bush once gave Sean Marie a big “thumbs-up as he boarded Air Force One“.

Being a super-reporter provided Sean Marie with opportunities like flying in a Black Hawk Helicopter and in a WWII B-17 Flying Fortress.  She also got to train with the El Paso Fire Department, where she repelled down a five-story building and put out a fire.

Sean Marie’s favorite part about covering the news was digging up stories that simply make you feel good.  She liked to call herself the “happy reporter’’ because happy stories are what she preferred to report on.

Reader BewareBe careful what you ask God for, because He does deliver. Today, Sean Marie really is a happy reporter telling amazing stories about kids who walk the Righteous Path of Love and Kindness. Fun Facts: Hey, here are some fun facts you may not know… Sean Marie once got a flat tire– right in front of pro-basketball player Shaquille O’Neal!  At UCLA, she represented the school on Family Feud College Week and then later returned with her own family to play on the show.  She also had a speaking role in a national television commercial for Degree Deodorant.
